It's FRIDAY! I love typing those letters :) And a holiday weekend at that. I'm so excited to have Monday off work and to be able to spend time with my little family. We have been SO busy with....the month of May. Why is May so crazy?! I will be using Monday for a recharge day. We all need those once in a while!
I want to remind you if you haven't already submitted your layouts and card ideas...come play with us for May's Stack-a-holic Challenge! You can get all of the details HERE. You have until May 30th to get your entries to me. I can't wait to see them!
I am hoping to inspire you on some things that you can do with our Decorative Trim Peel & Stick! These are available at Jo-Anns Stores and come in a variety of patterns and sizes. They feel and act a lot like a typical contact paper, except our patterns are way cooler than the average paper :) I will show you how I used this roll on a project in a minute....
You can use the decorative trim to jazz up your ceiling fan blades...
Cover your filing cabinet....
Line your stairs...
Update an old dresser...
Give your refrigerator a makeover...
Or give your bookshelf a new life! That is what I did with the roll that I showed you earlier....
This was SOO easy and I love how it turned out! I just measured the back of my bookshelf and cut my paper to match.
Peeled the backing off and slapped it on! This stuff is very forgiving...if you make a mistake it comes right off. I know this from experience, okay?!
Didn't it turn out cute?? You will have to check out your local Jo-Anns & see all of the cute patterns that we have! There is something for everyone's style and taste.
Have a fabulous weekend, my friends!! Monday is my free day but I will be back on Tuesday with more great ideas straight from your favorite paper company :)

ReplyDeleteI'm a little bit late to this party, but this is a really great idea! Not all of those photos of makeovers are of your contact paper designs, are they? Because the one that features a filing cabinet covered in a blue floral looks just like one of my discontinued favorite patterns from Paper Source. Joann didn't have the contact paper online for me to check to see if it was actually one you make and we don't live near one, so I was just curious :-) Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI'm late for teh giveaway but I love your ideas. I have also compiled a list. http://www.decorellaknox.com/2012/03/contact-paper-projects-ideas.html
